Children must be dropped off and collected promptly, particularly to ensure that all children are entering the setting to be ready for their session as quickly as possible. Delays both at the beginning and end of sessions can cause undue distress to our younger children.

Absence & Holidays

If your child is unwell or absent due to holiday, hours that your child is booked in for (both funded or paid) will be chargeable or claimed as normal. We are unable to swap or make up missed days from sickness or absence due to staff hours being arranged in advance to cover planned numbers of children on each specific day.

If your child has any sickness or diarrhoea, they are not able to come into setting for 48 hours after their last symptom. We appreciate parent/carer honesty and support in protecting your child and all our other children, as well as staff from contracting and spreading bugs.

Please inform us quickly if your child is unable to attend.

Please speak to a member of EY staff or the Office for any other information.

Young children love it when you chat, play and read with them, even if you think they're too young to understand. You can turn almost anything into a game. And every little thing you do together will help set them up nicely for the day they start school. Click on the logo above for more information amd advice on helping your child to talk.
